Castling is almost the most unique rule in chess: it will allow you to move two pieces at one move. The correct method to castle is:
Move the King 2 squares towards the rook, then jump Rook over the king and put it beside the King.

It’s important to castle as soon as you can in most cases, since it will make your king safer. There are several conditions you need to check before you can castle:
1. King and the rook you plan to move have not moved yet
2. There is no piece between king and the rook
3. All 3 squares (the square king stands and the square king will stay, and the square between these two squares) must not be attacked by any enemy pieces
