  1. The attacks against the Najdorf Sicilian by chess engines, mainly stockfish, might be one of the reasons that the Sicilian is not chosen very often by top GMs in big events, like the recently concluded candidates tournament.

  2. Stockfish just stockfishing hia opponents as always

  3. That was a real crush by the fish. I will be trying this variation of the Adams attack. Thanks Josip.

  4. The problem is castling. Don't castle. Keep the king at the center and it is hard of white to attack.

  5. Impressive tactics by The Fish! I wonder if Leela equals this invention level of stockfish. Prob not as she is more strategical!
But yes who doesnt love such games 😉

  6. Dear Josip, you're right with your remark, that the chess study from Harold Lommer, that you shared on your channel, was really far away from a normal chess position in a real game.
Therefore i will look for a study that has a great likeness to a real game.
And of course, it will be a study that most chess engines cannot solve!
I have a great collection of such positions which i use for testing chess engines, and i only choose such positions that can't be solved by the engines, or at least, the engine will need more than one minute on my PC.
Most of the positions are chess puzzles and studies, because any test position from a real game, for example the famous Botwinnik vs. Capablanca game from AVRO 1938, today is much to easy for modern engines!
Therefore it's almost impossible to test them with combinations from chess masters, the engines will get bored by those positions.
The only way to push chess engines to the limit is by using chess puzzles and studies!
    With the best regards,
    Torsten from Germany😊

  7. Yes, brilliant game by Stockfish and Seer could see the Bishop was a "poisoned" pieced and refused to take it until it put the King in check. And Seer could also see the writing on the wall and resigned relatively early in the process.

  8. i like your videos on engine games keep it up!
